Help Wanted!

Well, I'm getting ready to write a AU Rurouni Kenshin fanfiction and I need a few people to help me with different little things. First off, I would like someone to help me with getting some of the historical facts from within the series correct so that I don't sound stupid to those that are die hard fans.

After that point....well the other thing I'll ask from one of my friends because I don't think its a good idea to try it here. Anyway, any help or maybe links you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated.
